Days 4 & 5 Disney and LA!

Friday, Day 4 and Saturday Day 5...

Friday was a lazy day and a catch up day at Disney where we got to see everything that we didn't get to do on Wednesday...

The Finding Nemo ride was a renovation of 10,000 Leauges Under the Sea and had just opened, so EVERYONE wanted to ride. We thought about riding on Wednesday but the line was WAY too long! So we set out to wait in the line and ride it on Friday...2 hours later we were in the Yellow Submarine! It was definitely a cool ride, somehow they showed projected clips of Finding Nemo that were incorporated in stationary coral and other objects. Here's a couple pictues, and for some video check out: Video of Finding Nemo

I had ONE thing that I wanted to do while at Disney...well 2 or 3 things, but for all of you who know me, you know that I won't pass up an opportunity to see something related to High School Musical! They had a PepRally/Parade, and I was right there in the front row, catching all the action...ok, ok..I let some little girls stand in front of me...i'm so nice! Again, anything not on screen related to HSM is a little cheesy, but I still love it! Check out some video of this Peprally!

We got back to the hotel around 4:30, chilled out and went out to meet some of Erin's Athletic Training friends for some drinks around Downtown Disney...we got home around 1am CA time, and soon after that Erin was in dream land with her new Minnie Mouse!

We picked up our rent-a-car around 10:30 Saturday morning...we had reserved a convertible, but when we got there...oh shocker...they didn't have any! It's not that they rented all their convertibles out all ready...they never had any in the first place!! How LAME! So we got the pick of the parking lot...I have no idea what we got but we atleast got a sun roof...so it had to do! We checked in and here's a few pictures of our room...HIGH CLASS, white robes and all!

After we got setteled, we headed off to Manhattan Beach, we ate lunch and "Beaches" and this was our view:

Not too shabby, then we walked down on the beach, took a nap, dipped our feet in the Pacific Ocean...and of course took some pictures:

Tonight we ate at "The Belmont" and had a nice dinner...we wanted to go about 8:30 and the concierge said, "That's tough at this time...let me make a call..." Talking to the people at the Belmont: "I have some VIP's here and was wondering if you had a table available...you do, great..I'll send them right over"
And that, folks is how we do it in LA!
Stay posted for Days 6, 7, & 8!!
