So I got to spend this weekend with my sister in Virginia, and it ended up being an extended weekend! I was supposed to come down in February, but certain family situations made me reschedule the trip. I thought I booked a flight for last friday at 9am...but i ACTUALLY booked it for 9pm...I"M SO STUPID! So between talking with my sister and figuring out flights and work and all that stuff I was able to fly into VA Wednesday night and have an extra day and a half!
Friday we slept in then went to Old Town where we got ice cream for lunch and did a little shopping. We just chilled out and got some pizza for dinner..
Saturday we babysat the 4 Fitzpatrick kids: Kate, John, Elizabeth and George for the day and evening, and we did have a great time, but BOY AM I TIRED! We played with chalk, jumproped, rode bikes, watched movies, played Guitar Hero and just had a blast. Here are some pictures of the chalk drawings!!
Sunday my sister and I were in much need of some R & R...and this is the main reason why i came down in the first place. My brother, his girlfriend and I got Katie a gift certificate to a spa for Christmas, and I diceded that it isn't fun to go to a spa by yourself, so i'd come down and we'd go together! We both got hot stone massages and facials! Such a great day...I could get used to this!
So I got in Wednesday night, hung out and went to bed...pretty uneventful. Thursday I went into DC with my sister because she had to work a little bit..then saw some sights in DC, went to a greek deli, then came home to meet my sisters newly engaged roomate and went out to dinner.

But it was a good few days and definitely a trip I'll do again...but next time with mama!
